EXCHANGE: COMMENT Games People Design by Lee T. Perry During the past several years gaming-simulation exercises have been "playing" an increasingly important role in training managers and as adjunctive teaching aids in universities. They have become an integral part of the consultant's bag of tricks. Games and assorted gimmicks, from tinker toys to sophisticated role playing, are also becoming increasingly popular in both the teacher-student and trainer-trainee interface. Yet, in anticipation of extended use of gaming-simulation, two groups of questions of profound importance must be addressed.
